Spreading Joy and Kindness: Leo Host Club & Better Life Africa Visit Orphanages in Dar es Salaam
On 4th May 2025, the Leo Host Club in collaboration with Better Life Africa carried out a heartwarming outreach initiative, visiting two orphanages in Dar es Salaam as part of their ongoing commitment to service, compassion, and youth engagement.
First Stop: Umra Orphanage
The day began with a special visit to Umra Orphanage, where Leos spent quality time with the children—sharing laughter, stories, and gifts. The team brought along:
- 🥛 Milk packets
- 👕 A bag and box filled with clothes
- 🎒 Goody bags
The children were also actively engaged in their English classes—a signature activity of the Leo Host Club—adding an educational touch to the day’s warmth and cheer.
Second Stop: Eid Gifts Delivery
Later in the day, the team visited a second orphanage, which had been unable to attend the Eid Feast 2025 celebration. Determined to make sure no child felt left out, the Leos delivered thoughtful Eid gifts, including:
- 🍪 A biscuit box
- 🥛 7 cartons of milk
- 🎒 70 goody bags for the children at their other branch
- 🎂 A celebratory cake
The visit concluded with a small celebration, filled with joy and connection—a beautiful reminder that small acts of kindness can create lasting memories.
