Hunger Relief at Kibaha District

On Sunday, 1st March, the Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Infinity conducted a Hunger Relief Activity at Misugusugu Area, Kibaha District, in Dar es Salaam.

In the spirit of service and compassion during the holy month of Ramadhan, the Club distributed food packages to 33 elderly ladies, specially abled women, and other less fortunate members of the community. The objective was to support them in preparing wholesome meals for their families during this blessed month.

On Sunday, March 1st, the Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Infinity organized a Hunger Relief Activity in Misugusugu Area, Kibaha District, Dar es Salaam.

During the holy month of Ramadhan, the Club aimed to show its spirit of service and compassion by distributing food packages to 33 elderly ladies, specially abled women, and other less fortunate members of the community. The goal was to help them prepare nutritious meals for their families during this blessed month.

Each food package included essential items such as:

– 2 kg of rice

– 2 kg of Maharage (Beans)

– 2 kg of sugar

– 1 kg of Tambi

– 1 liter of cooking oil

– 1 packet of salt

– 250 g of tea

– 5 kg of sembe

The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the timely support, which would greatly alleviate their burden during Ramadhan.

We also extend our appreciation to all Lions members and Leo members who took time from their busy schedules to participate in this activity. Special thanks go to the members who coordinated the logistics and provided transportation to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of this project.
